The long awaited expansion to the Graceland tourist attraction is slated to begin in 2012 and 2013 according to its new owner, Apollo Global Management. A new Heartbreak Hotel with approximately 175 rooms and upscale amenities is the most important need at the moment and the estate is looking at partnering with a hotel chain. AGM is a private equity firm that also owns Caesars Entertainment and AMC.

Let's hope something happens in the near future. I am confident that this new company will be taking care of business.
If Apollo can't get it done then it will never happen. That being said, they are a private equity firm that can invest whatever it takes to stabilize their assets to where they become more valuable down the road.
