FAST FACT: THE BOSS ONCE TRIED TO MEET ELVIS

On April 29, 1976, security guards removed Bruce Springsteen from the grounds of Graceland. Springsteen was in Memphis on tour at the time and wanted to meet Elvis. So, the young rocker jumped the famous wall at Graceland in an attempt to meet his idol. But his plan was derailed when he was escorted off the premises. Springsteen did get the chance to see Elvis perform live on 2 occasions. One being at Madison Square Garden in 1972 and the other in Binghamton, NY in 1977.
